Commercial Safety Certificates

NICEIC & ECA Approved safety certificates

Electrical safety certificates are the documents that record electrical work or inspection: for example an Electrical Installation Certificate for new work, a Minor Works Certificate for small changes and an EICR for an existing installation. They show that the work met the required standard and are often asked for by landlords, insurers and buyers.

NICEIC safety certificates that match the work that was actually done

There is no single document called a safety certificate. New installation work is recorded on an Electrical Installation Certificate, small alterations to an existing circuit on a Minor Works Certificate, and the condition of an existing installation on an EICR. Landlords, insurers and buyers ask for these because they show what was inspected or installed, and to what standard.
