Commercial Minor Works Certification

NICEIC & ECA Approved minor works certification

A minor works certificate is issued when a small alteration or addition is made to an existing circuit, such as adding a socket or moving a light. It records what was done and the test results, showing the change was made to the standard required and giving the building owner a record of the work.

ECA Registered Member

Minor works certificates for the small jobs that still have to be recorded

Adding a socket, moving a light or extending an existing circuit is not large enough for a full installation certificate, but it is still electrical work that should be tested and written down. A Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificate records what was altered and the test results for that circuit. Without it, later inspections have no evidence the change was made safely.
