The existing supply is assessed to see how much capacity is available, a dedicated circuit with the correct protection is installed, and the charger is tested and handed over working, so it is safe to use from day one.

Installing a commercial charger means a dedicated circuit, the right residual-current protection for that equipment, and a check that the existing earthing arrangement is suitable. Those decisions are made at the survey, not after the unit is on the wall. On sites with more than one charger, the supply often has to be shared so the building is not overloaded at the end of the day.
